Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentop, Speaker of the GNAT has paid a farewell visit to Mr. Abdulhakim Benchemas, Speaker of the House of Councillors and to Mr. Habib El Malki, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Morocco after the 14th Conference of Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (PUIC).
Speaker Şentop thanked both Speakers for their hospitality.
Şentop stated that the enhancement of Turkey-Morocco relations is crucial for the Islamic world and that within this context, high level contacts between the two countries must be increased.
Şentop conveyed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s greetings and expressed that they would be pleased to host H.M. King Mohammed VI in Turkey.
Şentop stated that President Erdoğan would gladly visit Morocco upon invitation.
Then, Şentop and the accompanying parliamentary delegation took off from Rabat Sale Airport.
Mr. Abdelilah Elhalouti, Chairman of Morocco-Turkey Interparliamentary Friendship Group of the House of Councillors of Morocco, Mr. Ahmet Aydın Doğan, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Rabat and other officials bid farewell to Speaker Şentop.
