Mr. Mustafa Şentop, Speaker of GNAT, in his speech pointed out that the concept of creativity has become one of the prominent growth and development elements in the recent period.
Mr. Mustafa Şentop, Speaker of GNAT, made assessments regarding “ the way getting rid of the trap of middle income level particularly for the countries which can not reach the upper income level in terms of their gross domestic product per capita is to change the structure of production and export in these countries focusing on “the value added creative sectors.”
Mr. Şentop, Speaker of GNAT, stressed that Turkey needs to develop policies with a view to discovering the potential of creative class and establishing environments attracting their attention and supporting the creative industries as well as uncovering the creative features of each cities.
Mustafa Şentop said: “ what needs to be done is to create the best copyright law which supports creativity and to facilitate access to information. The countries want to develop their economies have to follow these principles.”
