According to the statement of the Communication Coordinatorship of the GNAT, during the call, Speaker Şentop indicated that the elections held in Kazakhstan on January 10, 2021 were carried out quite successfully, smoothly and in a way that everyone would appreciate.
After congratulating Nigmatulin, Şentop stated accordingly;
"All the political observers, including our friends told that the elections were held quite nicely. First of all, I’d like to congratulate you for this. I congratulate all the elected Deputies and the people of Kazakhstan. I also congratulate you on your reelection as the Speaker. I believe that such an experienced politician like yourself could offer great services to the Parliament and people of Kazakhstan. May God speed you, I wish you success."
Nurlan Nigmatulin, Speaker of the Parliament of Kazakhstan told that Mustafa Şentop is his close friend and brother and he is glad to receive a congratulatory call from him.
Nigmatulin emphasized that relations with the GNAT are always on the front line and the two countries are relatives, brothers and they will always be together, "Despite this difficult period where the coronavirus has spread, we’d like to thank you for sending electoral observers to our country. I have also conveyed H.E. Nursultan Nazarbayev that arrival of observers from Turkey shows H.E. Speaker Mustafa Şentop’s sincerity. I’d like to thank you on behalf of our Deputies and myself."
Speaker Şentop conveyed his greetings to Nursultan Nazarbayev, Founding President of Kazakhstan.
After Nurlan Nigmatulin indicated that he could begin preparing for the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TÜRKPA), Şentop told that he agreed with his offer to hold the General Assembly meeting in Turkistan.
Nigmatulin told "You can come to Nursultan first, hold your official meetings and then hopefully, we could finalize" and then conveyed his greetings to the members of the GNAT and to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
