Mustafa Şentop, Speaker of the GNAT, gave gifts to the children in the cultural center and fired the iftar cannon.
The iftar program in the cultural center started with the chidren’s chanting.
Parliament Speaker Şentop, in his speech at the iftar program, reminded that he attended the iftar held in the garden of the historical mosque in Livno in 2018, and said that iftar dinners are usually organised in Sarajevo for delegations from Türkiye, but he could not forget the feeling of iftar in 2018.
Parliament Speaker Şentop said about the iftar held in Livno in 2018, “Back then the month of Ramadan coincided with the summer season. Here, in the courtyard of the mosque, where we are, close to 500 people attended our iftar, which was planned for 50 people. There was a very special and emotional atmosphere in that iftar program. In terms of where we are, people and we were very excited because such a program had not been held before.”
