Speaker of GNAT, Şentop answered the questions of the journalists before the fast-breaking dinner to be organized by the IBU.
Parliament Speaker Şentop reminded that although the epidemic disrupted the process, they also participated in iftar programs in the countries of the region in the past.
Referring to his contacts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Şentop used the following statements:
‘’ We had contacts in Sarajevo, with the officials of both houses of the parliament and the members of the presidential council. Djaferovic, the current chairman of the Presidency Council, also I met with him late at night. Apart from that, we attended iftars both in Livno and Travnik. Iftar in Livno, we had been there before. There was an invitation for iftar in a region where Bosnians are a minority, a bit close to the Croatian borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We were there for that purpose. In Travnik, we came together with the families of those who were martyred during the genocide in the first half of the 90s."
