After the tete-a-tete meeting with Speaker of GNAT Mustafa Şentop, the meeting between the delegations started. During the meeting, Speaker Şentop first wished God’s mercy on those who lost their lives in the accident that occured due to the explosion of an oil-carrying vehicle in the Bint Bayeh region in the South, and wished the injured a recovery.

Refering to the historical relations between Türkiye and Libya, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Şentop said, “For Türkiye, Libya is a whole with its West, East and South and cannot be seperated. We stand equidistant from all regions and segments.”
